I recently became permanent resident of Canada. I just want to know if there is any way to check the status of your first pr card. currently, website says it is taking 47 business days to get ur first pr card. what is the normal time to get ur first pr card.

You can't check this status online nor by calling CIC or Service Canada. The card usually takes 6 weeks to arrive, but it may also take 8-9 weeks (roughly two months). Just wait for it, and in case you haven't received it by the 10th month, do contact your local Service Canada office to inquire further.

When you say "local Service Canada", are you talking about Service Canada where we apply for OHIP, Driver's license, etc.
