PR Card status - Asking those landing after 14 June 2018

Hi guys, I called IRCC today hoping to get hold of an agent so I could update them my mailing address for the card - eventually I couldn't get through to them so I keyed in my application number as instructed and what I heard was that they haven't started processing application submitted after 14 June 2018.

So I wanna shout out to those of you who landed after that date just to be reassured - HAVE YOU RECEIVED YOUR PR CARD?

We landed on 4 June and received our PR cards on 28 August. Didn't expect it to take SO long.

That's a relief to know, thank you!! The standard processing time is 2 months. As long as my card arrives within 3 months I'm good to go with my US trip in December >< Were you asked to submit new photos?

Nope. No photos requested. I did call them up when 6 weeks had passed to find out if something was wrong with our application. They checked and said everything looked okay and that Canada Post usually took a while to arrive at the address provided.

I've almost hit 2 months now and haven't even been able to notify them of my mailing address to receive the card....

Gosh, call them asap. I called them from the US and had a 40 min wait but it was worth it. Dial *67 before the no. 6139444000 to let the system know you're calling from Canada or you'll get an automated message saying that you can only make this call from inside Canada.

Yeah I'll give it some more shots. Most of the times the line was busy. The only time I succeeded was shortly after the 1-month mark, but the agent refused to update the address for me via phone and insisted I'd have to do it on their website - WHICH NEVER WORKS.

Can you email them? I remember responding to my 'ready for visa' email and they responded within an hour. Keep trying different customer care reps because the person I spoke to was SUPER nice and spelled out my address multiple times to confirm if it was accurate.

Oh that email?? I haven't tried as I thought the department handling the PR card was different. I'd give it a shot then. Thanks! :T

Without PR card, your landing document are all you need to return to Canada via private vehicle from the US.

Sadly the private vehicle option is not possible for me
