My husband lost his PR card and we are supposed to be traveling to see my father in law who is terminally ill in mid-july. We sent in the application requesting urgent processing on June 2nd, with medical reports and proof of travel.
The status in ECAS is:
1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on June 6, 2022.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on June 6, 2022.
3. We started processing your application on June 6, 2022.
We got decision made on June 7th, but no further correspondence.
I am assuming that this means that urgent processing was accepted.
Has anyone had a similar situation with urgent processing and how long did it take after getting decision made?
