PR Card Renewal - Wrong application date !

Hello,

My PR card expired on Feb 07, 2016. I landed on Dec 26, 2010 as permanent resident. I took my PR card and back my home country. I came back Canada Nov 20, 2013 and I’m still here. I have already submitted my PR renewal application on September 01, 2015 but I didn’t know residency requirement calculated from application date. I guess calculate from PR card expire date. I do not meet the minimum residency requirement of 730 days in the last 5 years in Sep 01, 2015.

2010 6 days
2011 34 days
2012 0 days
2013 41 days
2014 365 days
2015 365 days
2016 62 days ( Mar 02, 2016 )

From Dec 26, 2010 (become PR date) to Sep 01, 2015 (application date) total 689 days.
I should have applied Oct 12, 2015.
CIC sent letter to me and they wants to us passport photocopies.
Now what should I do?

Very simple and nothing to worry, withdraw your application and after withdrawal approve you should apply again.

Yes you can write dates was written by mistake.

Better to apply after CIC will send you withdraw confirmation letter, it will take approx 3-4 weeks.
