PR Card Renewal Under H&C 2025

Hello all,

I see that PR card renewal under H&C has been touched on here and there but there is no existing thread focusing mainly on this thus making it hard to follow or see people's timelines. So I thought to start one;

- Has anyone applied for PR Card renewal under H&C this year?
- How long did this take for you to hear back/an outcome? (Aware that this is a case by case basis)
- Was there a way of getting an update?
- What does "further review" mean in the processing?

There is no processing time for this posted online but it would be useful if people could share their experiences and timelines here.

Timeline:
Application date: May 2025

Could take over a year to get processed. In general if not reported it is much safer to remain in Canada until back in compliance and then apply for PR card renewal. No way to get update. You essentially need to wait to hear from IRCC and do not leave Canada.
