Hello,

My family who's been in Canada since 8 years got al letter for interview at CIC office and to bring bunch of document for the last 5 years to verify for PR card renewal.
Even my minor child who's been living and going to school in canada for the last 8 years got the same letter.

is it normal to interview minors? will they interview him alone?
What kind of questions will ask?

Like what documents?

list of travels
Passports used for the last 5 years
Entry/Exit from authority at the origine country
Taxes federal and provencial
Bank statements
School grades
important purchase proofs

These are normal things they ask not sure about the minors interview. I wonder what is considered as important purchase proofs.

Sometimes they interview minors, yes. I remember a woman on here saying her 5 year old got an interview, I think for citizenship rather than PR. They did not ask the child anything much, they just wanted to see the child and parent.

If they are wondering if you meet the RO, they might ask the child where they live, where do they go to school etc. but I am sure you have all their school records with you anyway.

Just to update, my family went to the interview as requested and all went well. They interviewed only my wife, she gave them all what they have requested and confirmed that she and kids meet the residency obligations.

If an immigrant has met the min days
