HI

My PR is expire in a weeks time and so is my citizenship due. which one should i go for?

secondly, throughout my stay in Canada, i stayed with a friend whom i did not pay and the work i did was mostly odd jobs and on cash, so how woudl i put this in the application and what impact it might make?

Lastly, Mistakenly i submitted a citizenship application in 2008. i recevied letter from the CIC judge apply after your time is met. What impact might this have on my PR renewal?

eagerly waiting to hear advices

I suggest you post your message again in this board in this forum for better results: Permanent Resident Obligation

I think you will have a problem proving your residency in Canada. What do you have as proof that you were really living in Canada during the past couple of years? Do you have credit card records of purchases made in Canada? Bank statements with purchases made in Canada? Memberships, receipts, phone bills? Have you at least filed taxes?

If you really meet the residency requirements, you can try applying but if they ask you to prove that you were living in Canada, it can delay your application by a year and you have to think about what you would use as proof.

If you don't actually meet the residency requirements, you are not in any danger because your PR card is expiring.. as long as you stay in Canada. You could use the next 2 years to collect your proof of living in Canada and then apply to renew.
