Wasn't able to link my application on GCKey.

Hello all, I have applied for PR renewal on August 24th 2026, and currently status in json is 16(Ready for review), can we link the application anywhere to see the status of the application ?

Hlo all ,I applied Pr card for renewal though online PR portal on August 11,2026 and submitted also on Aug.11,2026 but nothing received in post and nothing showing in online portal .no email yet .almost around 30 days today submitted application online any information pls?

Just posting here for some advice. I applied for renewal on August 6th 2026, and my application got returned today because the photo had issues. No big deal, I can get a new photo tomorrow. However, I have two questions.

Do I need to re-date everything to have the last five years counted from today or I can leave it as August 6th? The issue with this is that in the time spent outside Canada section, the dates are locked as August 6th 2021 to August 6th 2026 and I cannot change it at all.

Does this put me in the back of the queue again?

You will ONLY submit what they have asked for. Do not change anything else or calculations for the days outside. If they have returned based on photo, the portal is opened for you and ready to accept the photo.

-- The officers are so lazy that they will not look at your application for next 30-35 days now (the processing time currently is 38 days).

IN short just fulfill photo requirements as everything else checked out nicely for you.

Current processing time is 38 days. I would expect your application will be looked at by the IRCC anytime next week. Having said that, if everything is great on your file, you would expect the Post in 3 weeks from now (positively hopefully).

Not until they update your application (the first time they will access it). This is the time they designate as current processing time (38 days currently).

At that time an application number will be assigned to you. If not they you will have to call them and get your application number to link your application.

Sharing my timeline:
August 8, 2026 - submitted online for family of 3
September 11 - status 20 in Json

I live in Vancouver. Do you guys know how long before I receive the card via Canada Post?

Thank you so much! I'll get the photo done soon then. Also the other thing. I made a mistake regarding vacation days in my original post. I sent two webforms to amend it before I had the application returned. I changed the vacations days on the application to my amended days and attached an LOE. I havent submitted it yet since I didnt get the photo.

That is a right step. LOE with correction and your photo will set the record straight for you.
