Please elaborate and give your expert opinion.
I was landed on 15th July 2014, and returned back to KSA after staying two weeks. Received PR Cards for family (Spouse + 2 daughters). Asked cousin to DHL the cards. Once received, found that information for both of my child are wrong on PR card. Correction needed was last name and nationality.
I looked into cic website to understand the reissue process. DHL both PR cards back to my cousin address and asked him to courier from Canadian Address. On cic, it is mentioned that they can accept applications for PR card reissue only within 60 days. I managed to deliver PR cards for correction within 60 days but now i was checking the document's requirement list again and i noticed that i didn't provide VOS "verification of status or replacement of immigration document" to CIC.
So if anyone of you have experienced the same before then please share with me. I am worried that if they returned the PR cards and asked for first apply for VOS then i will not meet the 60 days deadline by CIC.
What is your recommendation in this case ? Shall i wait for CIC to come back ? Shall i re enter Canada from USA on private vehicle with COPR or go with commercial plane and try my luck.
