Hello,
I landed in Toronto with my family on 11 May 2014 as skilled worker Category, the PR card has already been applied automatically, I just want to know in how many days (as an average) the PR is received as I provided mailing address. On cic web site the last update is on 21 May that the processing time is now 85 days. As I arrived here on 11 May and I dont know what was the processing time before 21 May 2014.

Plz respond.

Thanks.

I landed on Mar 28 - the next day it showed 60, followed by 53 a couple of days later, followed by 70+ sometime last month and currently at 85.

The current processing time (85 days) is the one that applies to you. So you should expect to receive your PR card approximately 85 days after landing + mailing times.

if you are going to search for a house after landing and staying in a temporary accommodation which address need to given at the time of landing?

i guess if the PR card arrives in 3 months then it wont reach me.
what u guys did?

Does that mean I might get it earlier if I landed in March ?

You can give temporary address at the airport.

When you find more permanent address/residence, call CIC Call Centre and ask them to change address for pr card: 1-888-242-2100

See more: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/change-address.asp

Nothing specific. On landing it will be automatically applied for with the address you provide in Canada.
