Is it possible for ones family member to bring ones PRcard if one can not wait for 4 weeks after landing. Since the PR card will be posted to ones canadian address after landing. Is it possible. I cant wait for 4 weeks after landing. How can I go about it. I planning to land but is impossible for me to spend up to 4 weeks after land. Pls help

Give Canadian Address.
The PR cards will come on that address.... Later your family member can bring it to you :) No issues.

If there is a problem with the picture, as my per my knowledge, they ask to pictures by post. So when you are in Canada (just to be safe) when you go for your SIN Cards etc, get a back up copy of Pics made from some authentic shop that offers PR Card photos. Keep em with you, just in case they ask for picture again.

Regards

Thank you so much. But I don't understand what you mean by PR picture. I have never seen PR pictures before. What do you mean by authentic shop that takes picture. Pls clarify this for me. I am really greatful for your reply. I would want more seniors to reply me for me to have more convincing evidence.

Dear...hope u provided pics for COPR according to the specification on PPR. Few many candidates faced delays in PR card issuance (after landing) due to problems in the picture provided for PR card. While u not being around, there is a risk, God forbid, of problem in the picture and delays in your PR card issuance which means u may need to travel back to Canada using PRTD procedure.

But the good news is, now a days, CHC is allowing to mail your pictures to Canada hence u may not be requried to travel. Wish u do not face this situation and all remains well.

gud luk

Hi
Welcome Bro.
I mean Pictures for Permanent Resident Cards. There should be some good shop that takes pictures according to the specification of the PR Cards. SO just in case (as above mentioned) you are required to send Pics (if COPR not accepted) you will have a good set of Pics with you to send it....... Just a back up plan, though I hope you wont need it :)
