Dear All,
Just Received the PR Visa from London Visa Office for myself and wife.

I have few very important and urgent Questions, I will appreciate if some one will answer my questions:

1. I have to Travel from UK to Canada and return on urgent basis back to UK , so what is the best way to get the PR Card On urgent basis? and How many days it can take minimum?

2. If I Land alone, can my wife Land later on within her visa expiry time? Is it mandatory to Land all applicants together? If not what questions they can ask on the airport why other family member not traveled together?

3. People say if you Leave Canada on urgent basis then Some one from Family/Friend can send you the PR Card by Post/Courier outside Canada, So it is Legal to Send PR Card Received by a friend/family address , and being Sent outside Canada by them through Courier?

Thanks.

1) I don't believe that you can request "urgent" processing for your first PR card. Allow at least 70 days.

2) As long as the Principal Applicant lands first, it's not a problem landing at different times.

3) It's perfectly legal to have your PR card sent to a family or friends address in Canada and for them to send it on to you. HOWEVER, it is also possible for the BSO that processes the COPR when you land to defer the PR card application if (s)he believes that the address is not appropriate. You will probably be OK but this is a definite possibility.

Thanks alot for your reply.

I appreciate your reply for 3 and trust your knowledge. But I am little scared too.

Is there any official resource of information/confirmation that the PR Cards can be sent outside Canada by Post ? because As for as Passports are concerned, they have been prohibited to send by post and hence its illegal.

Please reply.
