Hi all,

I short landed at Toronto Pearson Intl airport on 11-Sept and left Canada on 16-Sept.

During my landing procedure the immigration officer didn't ask for new photographs for PR Card. Does this mean that everything is ok in my application, I have even checked the status online: the address has been updated.

Plz help

Unfortunately, nobody can tell you if CIC will be satisfied with your photos.

When my husband arrived in April 2016, immigration officer did not say anything regarding his photos as well. I called CIC on the next day and asked if they need new pictures for my husband's PR card and got an answer that if they need anything they will contact him.

In 5 months we start calling CIC as PR card did not arrive. Apparently, they need new photos that we noticed from the letter that CIC sent my husband after our numerous calls.

New photos were provided and the PR card finally arrived in September.

Hi I did a short landing on July 31, the same case as you, no photos required.

The PR Cards were sent to my mailbox in Regina this month.

Best of luck

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback, how does CIC communicate the photo requirement ?

Is it over postal mail or e-mail ?

Regards,

Both actually. However, most applicants have received emails, others received one of the 2. However, whichever you receive, the instructions are the same.
