Okay so I finally got all the documents called for on the checklist and the checklist didn't say anything about the PR Card application or photos etc for my spouse. Does that come later on?? It only asked for my sponsorship forms, his application forms for actual spousal PR, his proof of education, identity, volunteer work, employment history, family info, medical forms, police clearance certificate, my id, my financial stuff, our wedding proof stuff (invitations, photos, marriage document photocopies etc), proof of relationship going back several years (photos etc).... everything on the document checklist.... but nowhere does it call for his photos (like passport photos?) for the card, or the forms for the card itself. I found this page on CIC website for the PR Card application....http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/prcard.asp
Do we send these things later on once he is approved??

For my self it was on Appendix A document checklist - Immigrant . It depends on what country you are applying from what appendix it is . It was separate from the regular check list .

I have the whole application here in Canada. He sent me all his documents and forms from India. I have the full package here in Nova Scotia... and followed the page for family class spouse sponsorship and the document checklist contains both sponsor and applicant forms and documents but it doesn't mention anything about photos for his actual card or the card forms...

I think I found the answer... the PR Card application pdf actually says in the first line for Full Name "as shown on your Confirmation of Permanent Residence IMM 5292"... so I assume we won't have that until he is approved first since he has not yet been confirmed as a permanent resident?? So I am assuming this form comes later.

Its part 3 information guide IMM3904E

You must supply six recent photos 50mm/70mm

But is that part of the sponsor and application package or does this stuff come later?? I followed everything on this page:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/spouse.asp and the document checklist doesnt mention photos. The photos are listed on the document checklist for IM5444 (its in the Pr Card application). But there is nothing on the document checklist for the sponsor / applicant package... in there it lists copies of identification, medical, police certificate etc... but nothing about photos. I am really confused... where can I find the link for this? He sent everything via courier already... as we went by the guide on the spouse application page... and nothing was said about photos there. Now I am worried...

This was the exact link we used:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp

Okay I found it in the India specific file... now since he already sent by courier (and it was almost lost) all his other documents, this is all we are missing, so is it possible for him to send me the photo electronically, I can have it printed at Henry's and handwrite the photographer info from the photographer in India... It says in the pdf that the info can be handwritten on the back for the date / location and photographer... so I could write it on there. But the checklist / foreign travel appendix requires his signature... everything else is original forms he sent via courier but to save another courier fee, can he print it out, sign it, scan it in pdf and send to me to print out?? Just the immigrant checklist? Would they reject the whole application because that one form was a scan instead of original??

This whole process is confusing they don't put things in a logical order on the website... I think they secretly want people to fish out thousands of dollars to get a lawyer to do all the paperwork because they make things so confusing. Case in point why would the photo requirement be in the country specific pdf and not in the document checklist for the whole family class / spouse package??? The other checklist defines EVERYTHING else that he had to provide! But why not say the photos needed to be there too??? Im starting to get frustrated with all of this! :( I just want to see my husband again and it will be 18 months or so but only AFTER we actually get the application sent off! :(

I'm sorry i don't know.Look for the new Delhi thread and ask there . I know it can be confusing .. :(
