PR card photo issue. I am confused((

Hello everyone.

So, we did our landing in December and then returned to US. Did not fill the PR card application on the border, since there was no permanent address in Canada.

Now I received a letter from CIC saying that they are missing pictures for our PR cards and if they don't receive them in 60 days, PR card applications will be cancelled.

What does it mean and what should I do?

Sounds like you need to submit photos to them using the PR photograph specifications.

The things is, I am not in Canada, but I can provide an address of a friend for PR application. They will then mail it to me to the U.S. Can it cause any problems to me in the future when I cross the border?

Can someone please share what happens if I just ignore it and they cancel PR card application?
