I recently applied for a change of my pr card, due to a name change request that I had done earlier. During the time I was completing and gathering the requested forms for the application, it mentioned I needed a Notice of Assessment from the CRA. It is something that I had never gotten or even heard of. I tried to register a new account on the CRA website, in the hopes of obtaining one, only to be denied stating that I will get one once I file in my taxes. It also should be noted that I recently turned 18, so I haven' begun to file my taxes. Could someone help with the complication I am having.
