Hopefully it is on the way !!!

I called them and they told me that our photos are not clear and we should submit new photos at Canada services in person but , They will send me a letter around mid of April !!!! and after that I can do it.
It is sooooooooo crazy.

What about you?

i couldnt get to them..lines are so busy... will call again tomo. this is really crazy. i have to go to india for some work and not sure whether i send another request for expediting or get travel document from new delhi

I had called them and they are saying the same thing -photos are not clear- and will get a letter in 11 weeks
Since i am traveling abroad they gave me the option to go to the CIC office locally with the proof of tickets and documents and will then get the PR card faster.

I got my PR card rather quickly but my husband no such luck! We landed Nov 2010! He has called the number several times and it's always the same story "it's almost ready". So for him it's over 90 days. I was principal applicant and he was dependent. They do not say anything about photos though

I think every case is different. I landed October 2010 after waiting for 45 days I contacted CIC and was told that our photos did not meet the specified requirement and that I needed to submit new photos. The agent mailed me the Supplementary Identification Form, which I completed and attached the new photos and mailed the forms. This was January 2011. A week later I received a letter from CIC saying that I needed to come to the office on Claire and retake photos in person and gave me 180 days of the letter to do so, however, four weeks after mailing the Supplementary Identification Form, we received our PR cards (all at the same time). There was no need for us to go in person to retake photo. I think there was some mis-communication with CIC as eventhough I received a letter to retake photos, we received our PR cards. ;D as submission of the Supplementary ID Form was adequate.
