Just wanna share my timeline.
First PR card
Office: Etobicoke
Photos sent on March 22
First GU around Aug second week
Application was approved and card was mailed on Aug 25th
Received card on Aug 30.
I didn't receive an AOR or a reply to the webform I raised. Couldn't view the status of the application through ECAS either, but still made it through. So don't loose hope folks.
All the very best to everyone.

  1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on May 3, 2021.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on August 24, 2021.
  3. We started processing your application on August 24, 2021.
  4. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on August 31, 2021.
Hi, did you receive your card? If yes, how long does it take to receive the card after the status is "complete"? Thanks!

Where does one get the AOR? Online email or by post?

Hi, I received my COPR on Aug 25th after uploading the photo and address on the confirmation portal.

Dumb question: Do I have to apply for a PR card or will it be automatically mailed to the address that I have mentioned. Can I track the progress of my PR card anywhere?

Hi,
Are we going to need to send new photos (apart from the ones that are already included in the renewal application) just because they didn't start processing our cards for a zillion months and our photos are now old?

I have confirmed my mailing address and uploaded the photo using the new portal. my address has been accepted by IRCC but my photo still says "in review with IRCC"/
This has been happening since my CoPR has been issued in May.

does anyone know if I need to do anything at this point?

The processing time for PR renewal has gone up to 126 days (when I applied 6 weeks ago it was 90 days). Way to go IRCC. We need 500 days to win a Golden Medal in the Olympic
