PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2021

I really do not know, most of the time I see it should be within 60 days even when processing time is 120 days, they sent AOR after 60 days
but now I do not know - it could be one of the following reasons
1 - Backlog suddenly increased on march
2 - COVID 19, however, this becomes less effective after all this time living with COVID 19 and harder time was before
3 - they may have opened the application, and found it in-complete and returning it again and it is coming in the mail now but we do not know
4 - the photo may not be as per specification and they need new photos
if we see some people start have AOR from mid of march and forward then we can say we are in point 3 and 4 only - which i did not see in this forum
the latest post was 12 March received AOR
When did you send it and delivered it to IRCC?

Update for my application, status is complete now
1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on March 5, 2021.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on May 3, 2021.
3. We started processing your application on May 3, 2021.
4. Your request for a permanent resident card was approved on May 26, 2021. Your Permanent resident card will be mailed to you or if quality assurance is required, made available for you to pick up at an IRCC office.
5. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on May 27, 2021.
I sent my PR card application on March 9, 2021 and according to Canada Post with tracking was received in Sydney, Nova Scotia on March 15, 2021. I tried to call IRCC on several attempts and my application file is still not in their system. So since they haven’t open my package there is no AOR. I spoken to IRCC again today, the agent told me that probably I’m put in a queue so hopefully I will hear some good news in two weeks. Will keep you all updated if I receive any news.

i guess they need to start online pr renewal i guess... v sad 15 march still pending

My application for pr card renewal reached NS Mar 12th. I got AOE on May 18th(also Decision made the same day). Since then silence

( During this time frame I had proof of delivery, but when contacting IRCC they said that they did not receive it or it was not in their system, so I checked every week, then finally reprinted all the documents, new photos and sent again May 24th, 2021, they then sent a email as listed below) - We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on May 28, 2021.

This is just a renewal, I can check the status online but I can not link my application to my account.. If you are still waiting, give it time, or use the IRCC webform to request information. They take about 1-2 weeks to get back but they are nice.
Hi, Howmuch days will it take to receive the PR card after getting eCOPR from portal, because both address and photo are still in review.

I didn't, just regular processing. I think you shouldn't put urgent unless you have the reason to make it urgent(one of the mentioned ones). You never know, they might even delay it in that case more cuz you lied
