Hi All,

I am a newbie, please help me :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[

I have just received my first PR card (new immigrant) and I want to go to my home country (India) for a stay of maximum six months, get married to my boyfriend and come back to Canada (after six months) and then sponsor my spouse through outland (by continuing my stay in Canada). Will there be any issues related to residence obligations as I left immediate after getting my PR card.

This would at least reduce my initial separation from by husband after marriage and we can establish a good courtship (genuine relationship) to avoid Marriage of Convenience.

Please share your valuable inputs. I would appreciate your suggestions if you have any.

Thanks a million in advance

God bless you

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
There is no problem with you residency leaving Canada for up to 3 years. The only requirements you have to meet is staying for 730 days or more in your first 5 years as a PR and after that in any rolling 5 year period.
