We just received a letter from CIC stating that we need to bring the baby for an interview on 14th of september. This is the second letter we received from Cic , the first letter was in june but due to some reason we were not able to attend the interview.
Now what should we do as it says that if we don't come our baby's PR card case will goes in withhold. The baby is a US citizen and my husband and myself got the PR CARD but only baby was asked for interview and that was after 3-4 months of our landing . We are back iN US and its really hard to go for the interview right now due to some personal affairs.
What options do we have or should i just go with baby for the interview(this will be our last option).
Thanks for the help. Please do comment.

If you want to stay as it is, let the PR case to withhold.

I don't understand your reply, Steaky. Would you elaborate?

And In don't understand how a baby can be interviewed. Is the baby expected to learn French or English before the interview?

The baby doesn't need to speak either languages before the interview. I have a relative under Skilled Worker stream received a letter for an interview with their baby by CIC. So the mother and baby went to the pre-arranged interview in the Consulate in Shanghai, got the visa for the baby, and the parents and baby travelled to Toronto last Christmas.
