Hello. I'm a Permanent resident card holder. I've been here in Canada for more than a month now. Back in my country, I worked as a Seafarer abroad. My question is what would I do to keep my residency here If i decide to work outside canada? I plan to work again as a seafarer in my previous company and come home to canada after every contract of 5 months. What do I need to do to move on to my plan? Hope you can give me some advice. Thank you.

To maintain your PR status, you must physically live in Canada for two out of every five years. You must make sure you spend enough time living in Canada if you want to keep your PR status.

Thank you for your quick advice Scylla. In my case now, If I should decide to work outside canada as a Seafarer, is it safe for me leave since I've been here for over a month only?

Yes - you can certainly leave. Nothing is stopping you from doing that. Just make sure you meet the residency obligation.
