I recently became a resident. I applied inland and went to my landing interview on October 9th, when I received a letter confirming my new status.
I saw on CIC website that the card is taking 70 days to arrive, and I have a trip already planned on the 64th day. I will spend 3 weeks abroad. I still have a valid visa on my passport, as well as a valid work permit. Can I re-enter the country showing my Visa? If the card doesn’t arrive before I leave?

They should get cancelled but there does seem to be some lag time so you can attempt to use them. To guarantee you can enter Canada you would have to enter by the US land border in a private car and bring your COPR.
