I have been stayed in Canada for 770 days and applied for PR card renewal. Now I am planning to visit my home country and coming back just 5 days before my PR card expiry date. Can I re-enter the country without any issues, please advise me.

You shouldn't have any issues.

The PR card is what the airline will need to see to ensure you have the right to travel to Canada. Once you get to the border officer you just need to establish you are a PR and he is required as a matter of law to admit you to Canada. Even if you weren't compliant with the residency obligation, you'd still be admitted (although you may be served with a removal order at the same time, starting the process of changing you from PR back to foreign national.)

So again, from what you've said, you will be fine.
