I am Canadian citizen and working in USA on work visa. I had sponsored my parents application for PR.
my parents became PR in May 2015 and staying with my son in Canada. Still they didn't received their PR card. There was a problem once with the photograph not as per the spec which we sent 3 months ago. my son have been calling CIC and they says there is no action required from our side and the PR card is under process but we are not getting the PR card. problem is my parents does not speak English and CIC agent wants to talk to my father first before answering question from my son. What should we do?
I am little skeptical and thinking is that could be reason that a sponsor not residing in Canada would bring a hold in issuing PR card for my parents?
is there any way other than calling ICI to find out why my parents PR card is being delayed so much?
