PR Card Delay After Photo Resubmission – Sept 17 Landing

Hi everyone,


I landed in Canada as a PR on September 17, 2025. Initially, my PR card photo was rejected by IRCC due to lighting issues, and I was asked to resubmit.


I uploaded the new photo on February 8, 2026, but I still haven’t received my PR card yet. It’s been almost 2 months since resubmission, and there are no updates so far.


Has anyone faced a similar delay after re-uploading photos? How long did it take for you to receive your PR card?


Would really appreciate any insights or suggestions. Thanks in advance!

I'd try calling IRCC, and if that doesn't resolve things/situation not clear, try your MP's office. Just emphasize that for someone landed and living in Canada it causes problems not to have it and/or you have a need to travel soon.
