PR card application has been referred to local office in toronto!

i applied to renew my PR card in march. they just send me am email and notify me that it has been referred to local office and can not be speed up the processing time. i have flight ticket bought to go to china at end of june. anyone had this problem before? if som can you tell me how long will take to get the PR card.

i didn't not stay in canada more than 2 years, but i was with my husband and kids which all of them are canadian citizens in US. and the call centre told me i do meet the requirment in this case.

Because your renewal application has been sent to the local office - it's unfortunately impossible to say how long the processing will take.

If your husband is a Canadian citizen and was without outside of Canada - this means that you have met the residency obligation. What hard evidence did you provide to demonstrate that you and your husband were living outside of Canada together?
