LANDED..........
Soon! :)
Hi all, I read on a spreadsheet that I'm following that we should bring the PR Card Application form pre-filled when we arrive in Canada for the first time. But some sections don't make any sense as they ask if we've been absent from Canada for the past 5 years....of course we have...my wife will be arriving for the first time!

I also read in another thread that the officer/clerk fills this form out for us when we arrive? Is this true? Then why bring a pre-filled form with us?

Please shed some light!

Thanks

The PR application form is for renewals only. I'm not sure who told you to bring a pre-filled form with you at landing - but stop listening to them.

There is no PR application to be filled up. Your landing paper is the only thing you need to have with you.

The picture attached in your Landing Paper aka COPR will be used in your PR Card.

I landed 2 months ago. I received my PR card two weeks ago. its takes 6 weeks .

When you land you need a address to give to the Immigration Personnel so they can mail there.
