Hi,
My apologies as this is probably covered somewhere in this forum but I'm hoping someone can answer me (fairly) quickly!
My common-law partner has just been approved in her application for Canadian PR. The COPR letter indicates we must arrive in Canada by 31 May 2014.
My question is:
Can we visit my family in Canada earlier (say Feb) and go through the interview process then? We would only spend a week or so in Canada, return to the UK, then the plan is to make the 'full' move to Canada in June. Can we put my family's address down as a place to send her PR Card?
Basically, we want to be able to 'check-in' to Canada earlier, get the PR stuff done and dusted, and then return to the UK for a couple of months before moving permanently.
Does this make sense? Any advice?
Thanks
