I got my PR approved a week ago. But my former representative who did my work permit (ex-employer) received the PR approval pdf and 'Ready fo Visa' emails, even though i mentioned my personal email-id in the application. My lawyer was not involved at all in the process.
She was kind to forward the emails, but refusing to reply to that email as she's not my reperesentative. Instead she suggested me to send an email to IRCC.ClientPortalEast-EstClientPortail.IRCC@cic.gc.ca which was the original email-id from where she received the confirmation from.
I did email them 3 days ago mentioning the mistake and giving them requested details. But i did not receive any reply yet. Our visas however (mine and my spouse's) were already submitted to IRCC and is in process.
Has anybody been in similar situation before? Not sure if i'm doing this right.
Inland applicant. My spouse is a dependant. We are currently outside Canada and will be returning in a month.
