I recently landed in Canada as a new permanent resident and received my PR card last week. I then returned to my home country. I’m now applying for a visitor visa for my mother, who holds a valid U.S. tourist visa. The application gives me two options for her purpose of travel:
Since I’m currently not in Canada, it feels a bit illogical to “invite” her to visit me there. Would it be more practical or straightforward to apply under the general tourism category, especially given that she already has a valid U.S. visa? Thanks!
