Hello everyone, I really need some expert advice.my PR is applied and in process from last 13 months. My work permit expired in April 2020.but I travelled outside Canada in January and got stuck here in India because of lockdown.I applied for work permit extension (in time) Under outside Canada category. I have my PNP support letter and employer’s job letter from my same employer.now the situation is that biometric collection centres are closed in India and my WORK PERMIT EXTENSION file is still not processed. Question is-1.as I am not working,will it affect my PR file process.2-what is my status,implied or what???3.can I enter Canada with my WORK PERMIT APPLIED confirmation.4-can I travel to Canada on my 10 years multiple entry visitor visa on which I firstly entered Canada.5-if that’s not the case, will I get my PR while I am in India waiting for work permit extension. 2. No status. You only have implied status if you remain in Canada.

4. Maybe, but you'd have to convince the officer you were a visitor even though you have a PR application pending.

Thank you for the reply. Now as you said that it won’t affect my PR file process (question 1 ),then how I will get my PR,if biometric Centers doesn’t open for long Which will result in extension file not getting processed and I have to stay here in India.
