Hello all

Today I am sharing my situation because I am over stressed due to a silly mistake done by my sponsor. I am an Outland applicant application was lodged December 2019 as 1 applicant. Later on in 2021 I added my spouse and my daughter and was called in for interview in March 2022. All happiness officer approved our application and a family size change was sent to sponsor from IRCC and sponsor replied to IRCC they don’t have any allocations left and future allocations are already promised.
Based on the reply IRCC decided to revoke the decision and if there are changes to lodge new application. I talked with sponsor and the sponsor emailed them back asking for one more allocation to sponsor my dependents. ECAS is showing decision made and no emails have been received yet.
what are my chances?

Is this a Group of Five or a sponsorship through a community organization?

I don't think any of us can tell what will happen. It's quite possible IRCC may consider the sponsor's email and reopen the application. There's also a chance that you may have to reapply from the start.

When did IRCC decide to refuse the application? When did the sponsor email IRCC to let them know they have allocations to support your dependents? How long ago was this?

Hi Scylla thank you for your reply. It’s a community sponsorship and IRCC refused three weeks ago.

Do you know if the sponsor received a reply from IRCC?

It may take a few more weeks or even months until you know if IRCC has reopened the application or not.

IRCC have not replied yet I was so shocked to receive refusal while waiting for medicals.
If new application is required does it mean it will go back to step one. Thank you in advance.

It makes sense that the application was refused if the sponsor told IRCC they cannot support your additional family members. The sponsor must commit to supporting your full family. Hopefully IRCC will consider the sponsor's second email and reopen the application.

Yes, if a new application is required, this means it will go back to step one.
