Hello,

Concerning my PR application for a Skilled Worker class: I have received a rejection letter from CIC (Embassy of Canada in Rome) because I score 60 points only of the 67 minimum.
The officer gave me 0 points for the Language Proficiency because "no evidence was provided".
But I had sent them all the necessary documentation including IELTS and TEF tests (where I scored 7.5 and 7.6 out of 9), so evidently the officer couldn't find them in my file when he took the decision.

What should I do now?
I've read somewhere that in this case you may want to write to the program manager of the embassy. Is that right? And where I can find his name for the Embassy of Canada in Rome?

Is there any other procedure I should follow to appeal to the decision and get this mistake corrected?

Thanks

Dear Jacopo

You should contact CIC again with your IELTS documents. I do not know whether it will work, but this may be the only way to try again.
