hi all,
I received a letter that my PR application FSW is not approved because it was incomplete for one document police certificate that was not the complete check of backgrounds.
My application is now cancelled. I want to submit a new application with the correct certificate. Can anyone help me how to do? Should I create a new EE profile?
Many Thanks.

Yes - you need to create a new EE profile and wait until you receive ITA again.

Thanks for your answer.
In the letter it was said that my data can be reused for a new application. How?
Can I use the same ID and email address for the new profile...
Is there any explained guidance somewhere I can follow?
Should I hire a consultant for prior document review before submission?
Thanks so much in advance.

Yes you can use the same ID/MyCIC account. At the question "have you already applied for PR before?" you will have to say yes. It won't impact the result so don't worry, they just need to know.

For the consultant, only you can reply the question. Hiring a consultant won't ensure you get the PR approved, but my case was not straight forward (I worked in various companies, various countries, traveled a lot, not married but living with my partner etc...) and the consultant helped us a lot.

If you go this route, make sure the consultant you hire is competent (check his/her background on LinkedIn). Many people promote themselves as "immigration specialists" but only do the job for the last 6 months and were real estate agents before that. You need to hire someone who has been in the immigration business for some time.

Example: before hiring my consultant, I spoke to two of them. One said I can't apply together with my partner because we're not married and common-law status is only for "people who don't believe in marriage". The other said I can apply with my partner under common-law status. I checked and the second was right. She was the consultant who has been in the business for 10 years, the one who is wrong was doing the job for 6 months.

You actually don't need an immigration consultant if you are willing to spend time on this forum, a lot of senior members will gladly help.

Hi Mattjp1 and All,

Matt thanks for your advice. I applied yesterday and I've received an ITA this morning.
Frankly I need to make sure that all my documents are the correct ones this time. Is there any means to get my documents pre-checked before submission?

Thank you in advance.
