Guys, can you please help me figure out how and what to upload in the Education field of the application?

So I have foreign education (master's) and ECA for that.

I have put together in one pdf the following
ECA statement + Original Diploma + Transcripts (English) + Transcripts (Native)

Is this correct?

P.S. I am now afraid of sending too many documents :) I wonder if sending more than required can be an issue?

THANKS FOR ANY HELP

You only need to send the documents they request. I only uploaded my original diploma and simply put in the ECA reference number in the application. I never uploaded a scan copy of the ECA or any transcripts. I don't think it's an issue if you upload too many documents.

Just make sure you upload at least what they ask for. Several people got rejected because they uploaded the ECA report only when they were asked to upload their diploma. The documents list that gets generated for you should list what they want from you.

I have read on the forum, that there have been rejections if applicants didn't include their ECA report, together with diplomas and there's also another thing I read on CIC website (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp) saying that: (read in bold and red)

"Document requirements

To receive program-specific points for education, the applicant must either
-provide proof of having completed a Canadian secondary or post-secondary educational program; or
-obtain an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) and provide the ECA reference number in their application, along with proof of the foreign educational credentials for which points are being claimed.
Proof of completed Canadian or foreign educational credentials can include copies of
-secondary or post-secondary education documents (certificates, diplomas or degrees); and
-transcripts for successfully completed secondary or post-secondary studies, if available.
Where an ECA has been obtained, the applicant must provide the ECA reference number in their e-APR for online validation directly with the issuing organization.
-A scanned copy of the ECA is not required when submitting the e-APR but may be requested by CIC at a later date."

So reading all of these, I though uploading ECA report, diplomas, as well as transcripts in eng and native is what I should do.
Just double checking here.

ECA and degree copy are mandatory with translations, if applicable. Transcripts are optional.

Just double checking here.

Every time I read a post of someone saying they were rejected for not providing a hard copy of the ECA, it turned out that it was actually something else, like they didn't provide the actual diploma asked for it was the wrong ECA type or they didn't fill in the ECA reference number or they didn't provide the translation of the paperwork along with the original. That being said, what you just posted clearly states that you only have to provide the ECA refence number:

-obtain an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) and provide the ECA reference number in their application, along with proof of the foreign educational credentials for which points are being claimed.

The "must either" means you have to choose one of the listed choices. What the above one means is that you provide the ECA reference number and a scanned copy of the diploma that the ECA is proof for. This is the the option I did and I was never requested to provide the actual copy of the ECA report. The CIC has access to the databases of the ECAs. They will ask for the report if they are unable to find the ECA report when they access the database.

What you copied clear states all of this and even says you don't have to include the copy of the report, just that they can ask for it. It says you can include the transcripts, not that you have to.

If it'll make you feel better, go ahead and include everything. It shouldn't negativity impact your application if you provide more information than needed. Just make sure you include everything they ask for. It's pretty clear that they are saying so I'm not sure what they confusion is about.
