Hey

I was lucky enough to get an invite during the recent score dip of 455 (I had 456 ) and have some questions regarding my application . I'm an immigrant with 2 years+ work experience . I got laid off during December and got married in Feb . I updated my profile after I lost my job but didn't update my profile after marriage and got the invite in the recent draw. My wife is already a PR holder

My questions :

1) Would it be a problem if I disclose my marriage when filling out the forms after I get my invite ? (I don't intend to claim any points for it if at all I get any )
2) As I lost the job in December ( currently on EI ) do I need to show proof of funds ? if yes , how much should I be showing

It would be immensely helpful if you can shed some light on it

p.s : already tried calling immigration but cant get through :(

You don't need proof of funds if you're applying through CEC.

No problem, you haven't applied, just fill the application truthfully. An EE profile is just that, what matter is that you submit a truthful application. Since your wife is a PR already your points will not be recalculated so there are no issues for you on that side
