PR application form asks for country of residence- not sure what to put.

Hi everyone, the PR application form asks for a country of residence. I'm originally from Malaysia and have lived there most of my life but i've been studying a masters course in Australia for the last 6 months and will be here for another 6. Is Australia considered my country of residence?

Also, the form asks for address history. I dont have to put down the addresses of hotels i've stayed during foreign holiday trips do I?

Assuming you have a valid study permit for your course in Australia, then yes Australia is your current country of residence and Malaysia your country of nationality.

In your travel history, you do not need to mention trips between Aus and Malaysia during the time Aus was your country of residence

And no need of addresses for hotels because there were holidays - your address history should be places where you stayed on a permanent basis - for instance you paid utility bills at that location.
