hello,

i am a TFW working for a fast food restaurant as a food counter attendant for almost 3 years. There is only 1 PNP in our store which our manager sponsors every year.. We are a total of 15 TFWs in the store.

is there any other way I can apply as a PR when my position is just a low-skilled job and not a skilled worker.

My friend works as a supervisor but his WPs is low-skilled and paid low skilled... can this be considered as skilled work

Thank you...

Yes if you are in BC under our semi skilled pilot program :D No if you are in Alberta :( No for Canadian Experience Class Yes if your friend is sponsored as a skilled worker with Supervisors salary :D

The friend is working in contravention of his/her work permit which was issued as a Food counter attendant and she/he is working as a supervisor. S/he requires a new LMO for that position and the "unauthorized" work will not be counted for CEC.

I was actually thinking of AINP not CEC,She is promoted with corresponding increase in pay and since it is skilled, she is no longer under the 1 per store cap of the semi skilled making her eligible under the AINP skilled stream.New LMO is filed Wouldnt that work???

If the new LMO is issued, and she is not reported for working without the correct status. She can only count her time from when she has an approved work permit for the position.
