Hi Soop!

No news yet on my side. I have sent a couple of emails and still no answer. I wonder what´s taking them so long? It´s been 3 months since I done medicals and I´m still wating for passport request.
I will update as soon as I hear from them either is good or bad news.

not yet. they sent me an email yesterday saying they are missing my sons medical .. haha .. unbelievable .. we did our medical on 24th May .. sent all of our medical together via fedex and asked us to submit our passport and now they are saying they missed one .. i know i shall get the visa but this is just harrasement ... how can u receive my medical but not my son's ( included in the same package) ... just another delay ...

and here what's makes it even worse ... if i can't land by october i m going to miss out a job opportunity paying over 100k+ per year with a big oil company in calgary .. just my luck ..

oh man that's really awful. i hope they get their sh*t together and realize that quite a few of us are waiting for over 2 years and need to move on with our lives.

you ought to contact the company in calgary and explain your situation, they might hold the position a little longer.

so far my luck hasnt been that great i guess .. .. hopefully the employer would understand .. i guess i am caught off guard this time .. but what i don't understand how did they receive 2 report but not the third one ( included in the same package) .. i had to pull really big strings for this job .. i got in touch with the regional CFO of one of the largest oil company .. got a referrel from him to Calgary .. then spoke with regional CFO of Canada .. hahah told him i would join in October .. now i don't even know when would i be able to go there ..

he would ask for a new start date and i dont know how long this process would take .. i work for energy investment banking in houston and have submitted my resignation already (mid september last day) .. i am soo screwed up ..

Sorry to hear that. What's more, why don't they tell you one med result is missing earlier?! like when they received your passport FIVE weeks ago! What takes them sooooo long?

yea .. i would be fine as long as i can land by first week of October but the problem is i don't know what's really happening .. they did send me a letter saying my processing is complete .. i already contacted DMP and they sent an email to LA office asking for instruction and asked LA office if they need to FEDEX the medical again .... let's see .. my US green card is also in process ... i guess if i get the US green card before CAD i might just stay in US...
