PR application canceled

I'm going crazy right now.

My wife received an email April 22 requesting a new Schedule A and IMM5406. Unfortunately this email when to her junk mail and she never saw it. We never received a hard copy in the mail.

She just got a new email today saying they're canceling her application because they didn't receive these documents.

What the hell can we do?

You can try responding that the email was lost in her junk folder and send the forms, but I'd say there's a small chance they will be understanding about this, but it's possible. I wouldn't expect a hard copy of any correspondence in the mail from the CIC except for a letter (with COPR) regarding a final decision on the application.

Contact your MP immediately and ask them to inquire with CIC about re-opening the app.

CIC has the power to re-open the case. Reply to the email and send a case-specific enquiry with the documents in addition to talking to your MP (asap!).

Why CIC does not send email to both applicant and sponsor?

There are cases where both the sponsor and pa receive emails. In my case, all emails from CIC and CEM were sent to both me and my spouse.

Read this link. There are guidelines saying for visa officers to reopen in the case of missed emails.
