PR Application (Both Myself and My wife came on Work Permit)

Hi,
I got married in 2011 in India, I didn't register my marriage in India. We both work for the same firm.
We came to Canda in our work permit.
Now we are planning to apply for PR. They are asking for our marriage certificate.
Since we don’t have we are confused how to proceed.

You have to obtain proof somehow that your marriage is legal and binding in India as well as Canada.

The best way would be to obtain a marriage certificate.

I am not sure what you mean when you say you didn't "Register" your marriage in India.

If it was a legal marriage would it not have been registered somewhere to prove you are indeed married?
