PR application already in-process, and getting married to Canadian citizen

Hi All,

My friend is studying in Canada on a study permit. He applied for Immigration under FSW which is still in-process.

He is now getting married to a Canadian citizen abroad. Do he still have to update his status (that he got married)?
If yes, then what documents he needs to send to CIC?

Yes in my view you definitely need to submit your marriage certificate for update of information.
