Are PNP inland PR EE applications really taking longer than 6 months on average? Anyone else here an Inland applicant that can share their timeline?

Outland FSW EE OINP Applicant from Egypt here.. below is my timeline..

ITA received: May 18, 2016
AOR : July 09, 2016
Review of eligibility: Review in Progress
Review of Submitted Documents: FBI PCC requested on July 12, 2016 and provided on August 09, 2016
Military Service Details requested on August 03, 2016 and provided on August 09, 2016
Review of medical results: Passed July 12, 2016
Scheduling an interview: Not needed at this time
A background check is needed: In Progress August 03, 2016
Final decision: Not started

Today I received an e-mail that my application has been updated, but when I logged into my account, nothing looks different, any Idea what this means? Also, when do you think I should expect to hear anything judging from my timeline? Anticipation is killing me Here ;D

Maybe that is the thing they called "Ghost Email". No idea abt it but it is a good sign i guess.
I heard PNP outland are processed faster these days.

Below is my timeline

NSNP - Inland
AOR - June 4
Schedule 4- June 23
Med passed and BG in Progress - June 24
BG from in Progress to not needed -July 14
BG from not needed to in Progress - Aug 9

Looks like the processing for PNP inlanders has slowed down, i know atleast 5-6 people including my roommate who applied in April under NSNP got their PPR's before June end. hoping for some good news soon but going by the trend now, i wouldn't be surprised if it would take full six months for PPR.
