PR applicant under PNP for the month of AUGUST 2015

Hi. I submitted my medicals during May first week. Later, within one week my status changed to: Review of Medical Results - Passed.

Since then, "Review of eligibility" and "Background" are both "In Progress"... Its been almost 2 months now... Is it common to be in under progress for both these sections??

How long it would be like that?

Please let me know. I am bit worried....

My cic profile shows Review of eligibility-Review in Progress and A background check is needed-Not needed at this time

I'm asking this because I sent them requested docs on July 5th and I never received any confirmation. When I login to check the status there's no updates regarding the docs sent, but the medical exam that I did less than 2 weeks ago is already showing as received

It really depends on what additional documents they are. If it is PCC, they wouldn't post notification to let you know. And sometimes it takes forever for them to process and actually "receive" the document.

same for me. I added my spouse in my application and sent all docs through email as requested. No update on docs received but there is an update on Medicals as received..

I thought I would be happy that it's August now but upon reading posts from June onwards applicants that they didn't receive any ppr yet feels like I will be waiting forever again.

All August applicants shod have their medicals done by now, it's a good sign, according to cic it takes 3 months for next step.
We should be getting our PR by end of this year.
In just few months we will forget about all the stress associated with waiting.

Good day All. @ my friend that said all August applicants must have got their medicals done, you can say that for only inland applicants! The way people are attended to by each visa office varies!! I am an August applicant and I haven't got my medical request, apart from May, June and July that have been attended to by my visa office we haven't heard of any again.

I went to my Local Visa Office yesterday to see them in person. They allow this only on the first Tuesday of each month. They only open at 08:00 am but I was told to be there earlier on another forum as there are a lot of people enquiring on their files. I arrived there 06:15 am, was third in line and by 08:00am ther were +- 40 people in line.

I went in 08:00 am. They checked on the online system first and then pulled my original file to show me they received my original PCC's. The consultant said I will receive MR within a week or two. I then asked how long after medicals for PPR, she said between a couple of weeks or a month.

I am so excited that my file is finally moving into the right direction!

Its just a matter of wks before u get ur MR Druce.

Please tell me where you bought that crystal ball from that is showing you the future my friend You were right all along ;D
