They do also reject due to medical in admissibility etc
Criminality and background are not the only sectors where an applicant can get rejected

A part of the background checks is the 'Security Check'. It commences after our med results are
submitted to the CIC. This is a major activity -mainly concerning our 'safe inclusion' into the
Canadian Soil; vis-a-vis, Political, Socio-Econmical, Anti-Social disposition, perceived Threat toCanada's integrity etc. This gets us the SDEC, CDEC & SECCRIM. including CSIS, Interpol, NASC,Database Checking & touch-base with Local Police.they will check Many things are the No. of countries visited, Marriages, all the applicants in your applcation will be checked , Then our file might go to the local Police/CID agencies

Criminalty
This is a general check, world wide check, they will checl your local country, they no how they do dis, they have database, They have many security data base in which once they enter your name it will check may be you are a criminal, terrorist or not, if you comit a crime it will bring it out,
The 2 process are done together, well i tink this is the only area they do reject application

It is true, not a lot of cases gets declined because of medical issues, and not a lot of cases gets declined because of background and criminality issues.

If you have answered everything truthfully and you received PNP Certificate chances are 99% that you will also get PPR from CIC.

Good luck to everyone this week!

Could you please explain how it has been done?

I mean, the first link shows date of AOR and on the other side PPR and it shows a number. What does that number mean?

And in the second link....does that mean that 400 people got in progress?

Thanks

The first link show how long took to get PPR in months.
The second link show when background changed to In Progress in days.

Hi, anyone's applying for BOWP? Question 3 on the 1st page of IMM5710, should I mark a) A work permit with the same employer or b) An initial work permit or a work permit with a new employer?

14 May 2015 and 19 May 2015 applicants got ppr emails today.

Congrats for those who received PPR.

Happy that they are doing something on these applications.

One of my friend who is September 4th 2015 applicant received email saying your file is updated. Can't see any changes now. Will wait till next day and see what's new there. Curious. Probably background check to I. Progress.
