Hi everyone. I applied for PR outland in December 2014 so from the timeline I know I won't hear anything from CIC at least till late feb or early March (for now). I'm from Malaysia so I need visa to enter Canada. We're hoping that I can get my PR before September this year so my kids can start school.
My question is: If my PR application takes longer than I anticipated ( after Sept) , can I apply for visa to Canada and stay there till I get approve? What are the chances that my visitor visa get approve?
I want my kids to start school this year and start in the beginning of school term. Technically they can go first with my husband since they are all Canadian but we prefer not to be separated.
I think that I have a strong case: Married for 13 years already, 2 kids, I am a professional (a dentist and got my degree from canada ).We're moving to Nova Scotia where his family lives and where we lived before we move to Malaysia so most of our friends and families are there. I know Nova Scotia wants more people now more than other province since nobody wants to live in one of the highest taxed province. But you never know..anything can happen in term of PR application right?
Anyone from non visa exempt country actually get a visitor visa while application for PR is in process?
How do you convince them that you're gonna leave but you intended to stay?
Is there any special visa/permit that I can apply other than tourist visa?
Thanks guys!
