PR and work permit

Do you guys know if we receive PR but there are still month left on the work permit (obtained with LMO), can we change job or should we wait until work permit expires?

You do not have to wait for the WP to expire. As soon as your status changes (transition from worker status to permanent resident status) - the WP and restrictions imposed by the WP (if any) are invalidated. You can change jobs as soon as the PR status is obtained upon completing your landing.
