Outland, Outside Quebec.
Just received FD on November 28th.

However, we already have a trip to Canada booked for December 14th. (We live together abroad.)

If we do receive PPR next week, will there be enough time to have the COPR before the trip?

(PA already has ETA and would only need to provide passport copies at the VFS.)

Thanks

That would be a tight timeline in most places (even if you were to submit Monday), as somewhat location dependent. Since spouse has an ETA some better chance it will be enough time. But if not submitting the physical passport, there's no downside really to providing what is needed (that I can think of anyway), the docs would just come after you're back.

There have been a few reports (very few!) of applicants in this case showing up at port of entry and CBSA just printing the COPR and doing the landing (the admin part of becoming a PR) on the spot.
