PPR to COPR timeframe?

Hello everyone! We received our PPR today and are over the moon! Our timeframe and details below, but I wanted to know what the timeframe for obtaining our COPR would be like, as my work permit is expiring soon and the extension has not been approved yet. I'm a little anxious that my workplace is sticky about that and wants the COPR before extending the contract.

My partner and I have passports from countries that require an ETA to enter Canada, so we will be sending a photocopy of our passports, instead of our physical passports to the VO. We got our PPR today and will be sending it tomorrow. Is the process shorter for those who do not send their passports to the VO? Do we get our COPR when we land? I know some people have received landing invitations as opposed to PPRs.

Whenever you send your passport, it generally takes 2 weeks to have your passport back with CoPR. If you want to go for flagpoling, you can do anytime you want (Tues-Thurs, 8AM-12AM). If you want to do a landing interview, you have to send an email to schedule one, that takes around 30 days
